New BISP Bunyad ECCE Program: The foundation program aims to take care of the early education of the children because the early age of children is a sensitive part in which the foundation of the child can be good or bad so it is important to take care of them.

Early childhood refers to the period between birth and eight years of age in which the child’s brain is most sensitive to its surroundings. Significant developmental opportunities now require a specialized and critical educational approach to ensure that children learn the early skills and fundamental concepts to prepare them for later life.
ECCE refers to early childhood care and education more than preparing a child for primary schooling. It aims to fully develop a child’s socio-emotional cognitive and physical needs to lay a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.
ECCE focuses on the developmental milestones skills and concepts that children acquire in the early childhood years, from social-emotional skills to the beginnings of numerical and critical thinking, in addition to preparing children for future academic success. ECCE Policy of Punjab
According to the Punjab ECC Policy 2017, the SED School Education Department, Government of Punjab has committed to ensuring that all children between the ages of three and five attain their cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical skills and complete primary education. Our Aim
Through the PHCIP Punjab Human Capital Investment Project, the School Education Department is conducting daily renewal of ECCE 3400 classes under the foundation component in 11 target districts of Punjab.
The foundation aims to promote access to quality ECCE services for children aged 3 to five years. The component is particularly focused on engaging socioeconomically vulnerable families and helping to ensure that their children achieve strong foundational learning outcomes to thrive later in life.
The project aims to sensitize parents and communities on the impact of quality ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) Child Safety Gender Equality in Education Clean and Green initiatives and Hygiene.

What Encompasses Bunyad?
SED School Education Department Government of Punjab aims to achieve the following milestones as part of the PHCIP foundation program.
- In the 11 target districts of Punjab mentioned above ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) classrooms minor repair and renovation through symphonic wall thematic wall paint.
- ECCE kits in 34000 schools, Provision of age-appropriate furniture in 3400 head teachers 13600 teachers 3400 caretakers, and 3400 school council members trained in ECC education and management.
- Training of 1300 AEOs Assistant Education Officers on ECCE leadership skills to improve governance and service delivery
- Setting up reading corners in Grades 1, 2, and 3 to foster a love of reading and enable a smooth transition from ECCE to Pre-Primary
- This includes the establishment of a live student tracking system for the first time to monitor student transition rates from pre-primary to primary grades.
- Training of in-service primary teachers to support children in the transition from ECCE to primary grades
